These terms govern your use of Instant as a Shopify merchant or agency.

These Terms of Service govern your use of Instant, a product information management platform for Shopify merchants and agencies ("you" or "Customer"). By accessing or using Instant, you agree to these terms.
Instant is operated by Instant Copy ApS (CVR 45278263), registered in Denmark ("we," "us," or "Instant").
Instant is a product information management (PIM) tool that connects to your Shopify store and helps you manage, enrich, and publish product data across your catalog and sales channels.
Your catalog is the foundation Instant works with. You remain responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of the product data you bring into and publish through the platform.
Instant is a B2B service. By signing up, you confirm that you are using the platform for commercial or professional purposes — as a merchant, retailer, or agency acting on behalf of clients.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us promptly at hello@getinstant.io if you suspect unauthorized access.
If you use Instant to manage product data on behalf of clients, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with any obligations you have to those clients. These terms govern the relationship between you and Instant — not between Instant and your clients.
We offer a trial period so you can see how Instant works with your actual catalog before committing.
During your trial, you have access to the core features of Instant as described on our pricing page at the time you sign up. Feature availability may vary by plan.
The trial runs for 14 days from the date you connect your store. We'll notify you before it ends.
If you don't start a paid plan, your access to Instant will be paused. Your data is retained for 14 days after trial expiry, after which it may be deleted. We'll remind you before that happens.
We won't charge you anything during the trial unless you explicitly upgrade to a paid plan.
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select. Pricing is as described on our pricing page at the time you subscribe.
Payments are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
We may update pricing. If we do, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect for your account. Continuing to use Instant after that date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Prices shown are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any VAT, sales tax, or similar obligations in your jurisdiction.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you won't be charged again after that.
We don't issue prorated refunds for unused time in a billing period. If you cancel mid-month, you keep access through the end of that period.
If there's been a billing error or a technical issue on our end that meaningfully prevented you from using the platform, contact us at hello@getinstant.io and we'll review it. We'll be reasonable.
Following cancellation, your data is retained for 14 days, after which it will be deleted from our systems. If you'd like an export before then, contact us.
Your product data is yours. You retain all rights to the catalog content, descriptions, images, and other data you bring into Instant.
To provide the service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your data as necessary. We don't use your product data for any purpose other than delivering and improving the service you've subscribed to.
Instant connects to your Shopify store via the Shopify API. You authorize that connection when you install the app. You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting from your Shopify admin.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and publish the product data you bring into Instant — including product descriptions, imagery, and any third-party content.
Instant includes tools that suggest or generate product copy, descriptions, and metadata based on your existing catalog data.
AI-generated suggestions are proposals, not finished content. We recommend reviewing all generated output before publishing to your store or any channel. Instant does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated content.
Once you review and publish content, it becomes part of your catalog and falls under your responsibility. Instant is not liable for claims arising from published product descriptions, including claims of inaccuracy, misleading content, or intellectual property infringement.
AI-generated content may produce similar output for different customers. We don't warrant that suggestions are unique or that they won't resemble content generated for other users.
For data you process through Instant in the course of your business, you are the data controller and Instant acts as a data processor.
If you are subject to the GDPR (or equivalent legislation), you may request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) by contacting us at hello@getinstant.io.
Your data is stored and processed in the EU. We do not transfer personal data outside of the EEA without appropriate safeguards in place.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active, plus 14 days following cancellation. You may request deletion at any time.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact us at hello@getinstant.io to exercise these rights.
You agree not to use Instant to:
We reserve the right to suspend access if we reasonably believe these terms are being violated. Where possible, we'll notify you and give you a chance to address it first.
We work to keep Instant available and will communicate planned maintenance in advance. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, but we take reliability seriously.
We update Instant regularly. We may add, change, or remove features. We'll communicate material changes that affect your workflow in advance — through the app, by email, or both.
The Instant platform — including its interface, logic, documentation, and underlying technology — is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property law. These terms don't transfer any ownership to you.
As stated in Section 6, your catalog data remains yours. Nothing here gives us rights to your brand, products, or business.
To the extent permitted by law:
Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you at least 14 days before they take effect — by email or in-app notice. Continuing to use Instant after that date means you accept the updated terms. The current version of these terms is always available at getinstant.io/terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
